しず暮らし: ひな祭り。

試験が終わるまでブログ更新は控える！と決めたのに、今日はどうも特別な日なのでどうしても投稿しないと！

明治屋へ。久々に家族とお出かけをしたｗ

（実は今は本当に疲れてるから、簡単な文章で書かせていただきます…><）

i've promised that i wouldn't blog till the end of exams but today was such a special day i couldnt resist!

a precious family outing - to meidiya. (pardon for the simple words as i'm pretty tired now.. ><)

ここ大好き。日本に関するものがいっぱい集まってるところが好き。例えば紀伊国屋書店もね。

ひな祭りだから見に行こうというわけではなく、

日本語スピーチ大会で得た明治屋の割引券をまだいくつも持ってるから

買い物がてら家族お出かけをしようとお母さんが提案してた。

love this place. love places that are filled with Japanese goods, products and culture.. like kinokuniya.

we didn't plan to go to meidiya because of hinamatsuri. (in fact we realised it was the festival of girls after arriving there!)

it was because i still had a couple of vouchers left from last year's japanese speech contest

so mummy proposed going to meidiya for a family outing ^^

案の定すごい込んでた。ひな祭りに関する食品があちこちに並んであった。

it was crowded as expected on a sunday. there were hinamatsuri related goods almost everywhere.

さくらもち・・・　どっかで見たことあると思うけどなかなか思い出せない。

食べたことあるようなないような・・・orz

でも見た目はどうも綺麗だね、さくらもちは。

sakura mochi. i have a feeling i've seen it somewhere. but i couldnt remember whether i've actually tasted it or not.

but anyway, this little gem as a beautiful colour.

北海道牛乳！　これ絶対ゲット！

ずっっっっと狙ってたもん！！　今週までに飲み尽くすぞｗ

hokkaido milk! a mustttt get! i've been eyeing it since ages ago.. ^^

you're all going to be in my stomach by the end of this week hehe.

森永のホットケーキミックスを必死に探してたけどどこにも売れてないらしく、

諦めてこれを買おうとしたんだけど最後に一回回して探してみようとしたら見つけた。

こいつ買わなくてよかった。やっぱ自分で焼いて作るほうが好きｗ

when i was about to quit searching for morinaga's hotcake mix (having a pancake craze now ^^;) as its nowhere to be found,

i almost succumbed to buying this 10pcs pre-made hotcake but fought to resist and tried a last round of searching.

and i found it! (not in photo... will post about it when i get down to doing it after exams hee)

たらこ！　うまそう！

ついシドのマオさんのことを思い出しちゃった。

（マオさんが好きなのは明太子だけどねｗ）

delicious looking tarako~ reminds me of SID's mao. though what he likes is mentaiko...

meidi-ya just has so many awesome food here and there. if only i could own it.

ピーチュのかまぼけ。子供向けで可愛いｗ

pikachu fishcake! where else could you get such cute food for kids except in meidiya!

いよいよ会計の時間！１．６０ドル超えちゃったｗ

time for payment! we exceeded by $1.60...

帰りにたい焼きのお店に寄ってたい焼き食べようか食べないと思い悩んでた。

just before heading home, we came across this taiyaki shop.

そのうち、お母さんが先に行ってに買って来てくれました。

お母さん…超勝手だけど大好きｗｗ　ありがとうねｗ

while i was having a hard time deliberating whether or not to pamper myself,

mummy went a step ahead of me and bought back 1 azuki taiyaki!

aww.... i dont know whether i should be happy or sad. but my mummy is so sweet! thanks mum!
