早朝起床。

 

ポーラーカフェー洋菓子を朝食にし、パパヤと玄米茶で栄養をバランス。

 

何故半分に分けてるのかと思ってるのなら、それはお母さんとシェアしたものだからのだｗ

外出したら帰りにBeansTalkという小さなお店に寄って、新聞に出たお勧めのデザートを買ってみた。



dropped by BeansTalk - a taiwan beancurd dessert shop - featured in Sunday Times a few weeks ago. I've been wanting to try it since! finally the day has come~

 

 

 

 

マジ、うまい。　たった$2でトッピング６種類も付き台湾豆腐デザートを手に入れた、よ？

 

ピーナッツ売り切れたので５つのトッピングだけ貰ったけど、それでもんまい！ほらこの色ｗ

 

two words - irresistibly awesome. can you believe it? silky soft beancurd with 6 toppings at just $2! the roasted peanuts ran out when i went hence i had only 5 toppings in mine (red beans, mung beans, pinto beans, grass jelly and taro balls) but it still tasted good nevertheless.

 

 

 

 

 

 

柔らかくてふわふわとした豆腐の上に、甘味があっさりとした小豆、青小豆とインゲン豆がのせられてる。

 

それ以上のシロップをかけずに召し上がれる健康的なデザート。

 

light and fluffy, the chilled beancurd was well complimented by the toppings. no additional syrup was added (to my delight!), giving rise to a subtly sweet and well-balanced dessert.

 

 

 

 

 

過去体験の影響で「タロボール」をあまり好んでない私が、BeansTalkのを食べてみたら…

 

う、うまい。という感想しか言えなかった。　笑

BeansTalkのタロボールは今まで食べたの中で一番柔らかくて

 

真ん中まで食べるとテクスチャーが変わり、お芋の味があっさりとする。

 

having not-so-good past experiences with taro balls, i was hesitant to try them again. but as i took my first bite of the purple gelatinous ball... all those past perceptions went and drowned in the river. BeansTalk's taro ball were soft yet chewy. if you bite into the middle, the texture changes and a subtle yam flavour greets your tastebuds. amazing.

 

 

 

 

 now i know where to get my beancurd fix.

 

 

 帰宅したらお母さんがサーモン焼きを作ってくれた。美味しいものばかり一日だねｗ

 

after reaching home, mum made some grilled salmon. a day of delicious food it is ^^
