今月の思い出を今月いっぱい語り終えようと思ってます。では、「２月の流れ」の続きです。

２月９日（土） － Flor Pâtissière。
試験勉強期間に入る前にどうしてもお出かけしたくて、親友のウォンを早朝のお茶会に誘った。
どこかいいお店があるかと調べたら、近くに評価の良さそうな洋菓子のお店があり、行ってみようかときっかり決めた。
its was a very early morning.
eager to get some sunshine before turning into a hermit during the intense study break,
a close friend and I visited a nearby Japanese patissiere which had pretty good ratings online.
着いたら風景良すぎて即興ミニ撮影！笑
upon arriving, the scenery was so amazing we had an impromptu photoshoot!
昔の居住地（ショップハウス）の多く集まってる場所で
そこに踏み出したら
まるで時間が逆方向に流れたという感じだった。
old shophouses elucidated their rustic charms as they stood humbly along the roads.
a sight you would not often encounter in modern day Singapore.
it was as if one had stepped into a time capsule and was transported several decades back into the past..
憧れのくりゅーさんみたいなポトレを撮ろうと挑戦してみたｗ
emotive portraits. love them.
this shot was inspired by Kuryu, a Japanese cosplayer I highly respect.
be it for portraits or cosplay, she's just so natural in front of the camera.
i still have a lot more to learn.. ^^

one of my favourite shots from this collection ^^
like it alot so i've entitled it - Spring.
ちょうど旧正月が近づいてたから「福」の飾りとパシャ。
then, the lunar new year was approaching.
we took a shot with this new year decoration in front of one of the shops.

この綺麗なドアのハンドル、おとぎ話から出てきたみたい。
a lovely fairytale like door handle.
あと全体写真も少し撮ってみた。
二枚目のリラックスしてる姿が結構気に入ってる。

いよいよFlor Pâtissièreの開店時間。

さて、足を休ませて舌を甘やかそうｗ
finally, its 11am and the little Japanese confectionary - Flor Pâtissière - opened its doors.
they have a branch (front counter) in Takashimaya too.
let's rest our feet and pamper our tastebuds ^^
思ったより小さなお店だったけど、フロントで並んでたケーキがどれも美味しそうだったので選択するの苦戦がだったｗ
though the shop was a little smaller than i expected, there was a bursting variety of cakes that it was tough choosing which to savour!
結局お勧めのストローベリーショットケーキと若草山にした。
in the end, we chose the recommended strawberry shortcake and wakakusayama.
甘味にほんの酸っぱさが漂うイチゴ。
クリームたっぷりめのしっとりとしたショットケーキ。
the strawberries were slightly sweet with a hint of sourness.
a soft yet moist shortcake full of sweet whipped cream it is.
いちごより抹茶が好きな私だから若草山のほうがらぶｗ
having tastebuds biased towards maccha, my vote is with wakakusayama ^^

tucking in~
the cake roll was quite richly infused with green tea flavour.
perhaps i can conclude that Flor's pastries are fairly light on the palate.

いいロケ地発見して 撮影もちょっとできて
友人ともゆっくりしゃべれたこんな朝だった。
though it was short, it was a great morning spent in olden Singapore, with cameras and a close friend ^^
